 I will say that my mother was fantastic about giving me her time and attention when she could which was often. She was also slow to judge and quick to offer grace and love, and always willing to listen somehow she managed to strike that perfect balance between friend and parent. As a result, even in my high school years, she became a close friend and that has continued into my adult years I hope I can one day be half the mom she was with me. I disagree with the comment in section three, it is a parent/teacher conference, children should not be present.
