I saw the woman was still on the bench, now sleeping upright. I prayed she was able to get a little more rest before someone pushed her off her resting place. My daughter asked a lot of questions about the situation as we drove home. Her questions got me thinking. I certainly don’t have all the answers, but I do know this. When I stumble across someone down on her luck, my job is not to push her down further.
